Hokulea and Hoku Alakai at Kealakekua Bay music by Donald Kaulia and LT Smooth. This will be the starting point for the three vessel journey through the islands in 2010. They will meet up with the Makalii in Kawaihae next week.
Maki Sugahara met up with members of the crew, in anticipation of his upcoming voyage around the islands, and to Japan.
