Some Clips of the Hawaiian Music Legend: Gabby Pahinui

Below are two awesome clips of one of the most celebrated Hawaiian Music legends: Gabby Pahinui.

In the first clip he is performing the song he is probably remembered the most for: “Hi’ilawe”. In the beginning you will see a clip of Cyril Pahinui when he was a young man.

Both clips are from “Slack Key and Other Notes” a short documentary made in 1977. The second one features Uncle Gabby and Peter Moon playing “Waialae”
